RESOLUTION 96-24
HONORING
ALMA H'HOLSTON
WHEREAS, Alma K Holston has served:on the"`To~wn Council ofthe Town of Pulaski,
Virginia from 1980 to 1984 and from 1988 to 1996; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Holston has served on the Ordinance Committee, Human Resources
Committee and as Chairperson of the Public Operations Committee, as well as The
Agency on Aging representative, the Environmental Quality Boazd and was appointed to
the V.M.L. Legislative Committee; and,
WHEREAS, During her service, Mrs. Holston has dealt capably with numerous complex
issues and projects affecting past, present and firture Town residents; and,
WHEREAS, as a member of Council, Mrs. Holston~served all citizens of the Town with
fairness, honesty, kindness and respect.
NOW THEREFORE, lie it resolved by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, sitting in regular session on July 2 1996 -that the Town Council should and

This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded vote of the Town
Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, on th>IS 2nd day of July, 1996_ as follows:
