RESOLUTION 97-23
HONORING
WH.LIAM "WADE" BARTLETT
WHEREAS, William "Wade" Bartlett, Director of Finance, is accepting the position of Director
of Finance in the City of Martinsville; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Bartlett served as Finance Director from January, 1996 to August, 197; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Bartlett distinguished himself as Finance Director by leading the town to the
highest real estate tax celledion rate that it has had in over a decade, significarrtly advancing the
town cash management program and has enhanced the Town's revenue collections in gexeral
through diligent irrtemal auditing efforts.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virppnia,
sitting in regular session on August 5, 1997, that the Town Council should and hereby re.:.ognizes
the sigiuficant and lasting contributions of Mr. Bartlett to the citizens of the Town of Pulasli and
• commends him for his dedication "beyond the call of duty", long hours of labor, and exc~tionak
public service.
This resokution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded vote of the Town Council of
the Town of Pulaski, Virgisnia, on this 5th day of August, 199? as follows:
