N.W. • ADOPTED: October 20, 1999 EFFECTIVE: October 20, 1999 U ORDINANCE 99-12 ORDINANCE PERMITI'I1~TG A CONDITIONAL USE FOR ERECTING A TR.ANSMI'ITII~TG/RECENIIVG ANTENNA IN EXCESS OF FIFTY FEET IN HEIGHT AT 234 10'~ St. N.W. • WHEREAS, Mr. Samuel F. I{runsberg has requested permission to erect an amateur radio transmitting/receiving antenna approximately 75 feet in height at 234 10~' St. N.W. identified as Tax Map No. 072-032-0000-030 in the Town of Pulaski, Pulaski County, Virginia; and, WHEREAS, the subject location is zoned R-2 (Residential) and a transmitting or receiving antenna in excess of fifty {50) feet requires a conditional use permit; and, WHEREAS, after advertisement required by law, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on Septembez 13, 1999 and recommended approval of the conditional use as submitted; and, WHEREAS, after advertisement as required by law, a public hearing was held by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia on October 5, 1999, wherein the plans of the applicant and the concerns of the neighbors were addressed; NOW THEREFORE, be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, sitting in special session on October 20, 1999, that the application of Mr. Samuel I~runsberg, for a conditional use permit to erect an amateur radio tower in excess of fifty feet, is hereby approved upon the condition that a building permit be obtained for erecting the tower and that the tower be inspected by the Town to see that the tower is installed in a safe and proper manner in conformity with the manufacturer's instructions. This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia on this 20~` day of October, 1999 as follows: James M.
