Council: Jeffrey S. Worrell, Pauline G. Mitchell, E. G. Black, Jr., Bettye H. Steger, Daniel Talbert, Jr., Kenneth M. Fleenor, Lane R. Penn
Absent/Excused: James M. Neblett

Mayor Stewart called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
Councilman Talbert arrived at 5:01 p.m.
Finance Committee Chairman Fleenor advised that committee had a called meeting on December 12, 2000 and entered into closed session. After returning to regular session, committee voted
to approve the UDAG loan of Keith and Carol Southern, dba Southtech Printing.
Chairman Fleenor stated “by direction of the majority of the committee, I move that we approve the above mentioned loan”, and so passed on the following recorded vote:
Jeffrey S. Worrell - Aye Bettye H. Steger - Aye
Pauline G. Mitchell - Aye James M. Neblett - Absent
Daniel Talbert, Jr. - Aye Kenneth M. Fleenor - No
E. G. Black, Jr. - Aye Lane R. Penn - Aye
There being no further business, Council adjourned at 5:02 p.m. on motion by Councilman Fleenor, seconded by Councilman Worrell and carried.
