Minutes of the regular semi-monthly meeting of the Tokm
Council of the Town of Pulaski, Va.rginia, held on the 1£3th day of
June, 1957, at 4 p. m. in the municipal office.
There were present; Mayor C. V. Jackson, presiding.
Councilmen: F. L. Carrico, W. S. Cummings, I. R.
Carper, W. A. Larson, J. R. rlartin,

Minutes of the regular monthly meeti,z~g of June ~,
1957, were approved.
,~Tessrs. T-coward Imboden and J. P. Miller appeared be-
fore Cot:ncil z~rith 2 request for the use of Calfee Park far professional
bas?ball dizri.ng the months of Julys a.nd August. i;r. Imt~oden sta.tPd
that, there woul~~ he a total of 31 games played at Calfee Park. The
Town 'manager and Recreation Director advr~_seci Council of the diff'~-
culties that would be encountered by the recreation prngram now
being carried on at the park, ho~~ever, it was felt that Ceol
Springs and Aci3 Plant Hill could be improved to a11ow additional
space for the program.

it was unanimously
RESOLV~'D~ that Calfee Park be avai_lab7.e for profess'LOnal
b a:~eball a.nd the±• a charge of $25.00 ~1i.11 be mrdP by, the Totem for each
night game and $10.00 for Pack daylight game. ~?o cha.rge will be made
for rained out games and an additional $10.00 w5.11 be charged for
double headers, and
BE TT FiTRTHER RESOLVED, that the concession stand will
be operated by the Town Recreation Department with all profits
going to the Recreation Department. It being understood that the
$500 concession fee charged by the ball club will be paid by the
local sponsors of the club and not by the Town.

had seen no objection to introducing the laundry wastes into the

laundry might inda_cate a greater waste load than the normal

additional amount to cover the cost of treating a greater
