Council ~ir-utes July 31, 1957 ~ P• ~• The minutes of a special meeting of the Tam Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, held on the 31st day of duly, 1957, at 4 p. m. in the Municipal office. There were present: Mayor C. V. Jackson, presiding. Councilmen: W. F. White, W. A. Larson, A. E. Lemons, W. H. Wysor, F. L. Carrico, W. S. Cummings, I. R. Carper Absent: Councilman J. R. Martin Also present: Town Manager: T. B. Noland Clerk: Gladys R. Dalton Town Treasurer: Lottie R. Runion Mayor Jackson stated that this special meeting had been PURPOSE OF SPECIAL MEETING c alled for the purpose of hearing a report on delinquent taxes, DEL. TARES which is routine, and such other matters as may proper],y came before the meeting. Carper - aye BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Treasurers report for delinquent taxes for the year 1956, as certified to the Council, be accepted; that the Treasurer be credited with the amount shown to be delinquent and that said list of delinquent real estate and 1 1 1 sewer tax be filed with the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pulaski ~~ ~. ~~~~~ council. RESOLVED, that the certif~.ed list of the Town Treasurer for the year 194, showing remaining delinquent taxes to be accepted, and it is ordered that the list of real estate and sewer taxes be transmitted to the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Virginia., to be filed; and the Treasurer is further directed to continue to collect the unpaid taxes shown on said list. Upon the recannendation of Town Treasurer, and on motion of W. F. white, seconded by W. H. Wysor, it was unanimously RF~OLVED, that a List of delinquent taxes be published PUBLICATION OF DEL.
