Council Minutes Pulaski, Virginia, ~~May~ 25, 1953
A special meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Pulaski, Virginia was held in the Municipal
Building at 4 p.m., May 25, 1953.
There were present:
Mayor C. V. Jackson, presiding
Councilmen: I.R. Carper, O.O.Crowell,
J. C . Crumbley, Jr. ,1i~'.A. Lamson,
J.R.Martin.
Absent: ~'.W.Marshall, J.L.Resling.
Also present:
Town Manager: Julian F. Hirst
Clerk: Louise D. Logan

The Mayor stated the meeting had been called to
further consider the proposed budget for the year beginning
July 1, 1954, as a continuation of the informal special
meeting held May 21, 1953.
Mr. Mason C. Deaver, President of the Junior
Chamber of Commerce presented a letter from the Chamber
which tagged Couneil to continue public recreation and
stated their organization wholeheartedly endorsed
continuation of the program.
The Council thereupon retired and entered
into general review of the proposed budget.
ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 6 p.m.
