Santa Cruz that an east-west alley between 2nd Street, N.W. and ~d Street, N. ~. off of Randolph Avenue to the Pulaski High School be opened be referred to the Town Attorney for investigation and report at the next Council meeting. On motion duly made by I.R. Carper, seconded by W. F, ll~hite, it was unanimously AU HTER RESOLVED, that the request of Clifton . T~V~T AID LVERT - ~IED Slaughter that the Town provide assistance in constructing approximately ninety feet of 42 in. culvert behind Calfee Park be denied. On motion duly made by T. F. Wirt, seconded by W. F. White, it was unanimously (TRASH ORDINANCE (COMPLIANCE RESOLVID, that the Superintendent of Public Works notify those merchants and business establishment owners not complying with the recently enacted Trash Ordinance that their premises must be cleaned up and all requirements met by Alu..gust 19, 1951. SAFEVI~AY CAB- The Chief of Police was directed to notify the (COMPANY Safeway Cab Company on North_Jefferson Avenue _tklat no left turns would be permitted, in accordance with previous action of the Council, and that strict compliance with~Couneil~s ruling is expected. TRAFFIC LIQ3T The matters of a traffic light at the inter- ~LASH.&1ST. DISCUSSED section of Washington Avenue and First Street, N.E., and - elimination of "II Turns" at the intersection of Second "NO U TURNSR FIRST A1~D Street, N. E. and Madison Avenue were discussed, to be S.MADISON DISCUSSED given further consideration at~ths next Council meeting. The Mayor appointed a committee of 0. 0. PETITION CURB,ETC. Crowell, E. T. Painter, and I. R. Carper to furti~.er 4TH ST.N.W. consider the petition of residents on 4th 3'treet for sidewalk, curb and gutter improvements. DOG A~ letter from Mr. T. E. Tabor, Chairman of NUISANCE the Pulaski County Board of Supervisdrs was read, stating he had requested the Pulaski County Game Warden to make a thorough check on dogs in the Town to determine the 1 D 1 number of untagged dogs for report to the board at the ~ =i ~~~a Council Minutes Conti d.
