A called meeting of the Tavn Council of
Town of Pulaski, Virginia was held in the Mayors Office
at 12:00 o~clock noon, April 12, 1949.
There were present:
Magor Marvin G. Graham, presiding
Councilmen: ~If.D. Aust, I. R. Carper,
0.0. Crowell, G.R.Steger,
W.F.White.
Absent: H. R. Imboden, L.C.Lemons,
T. F. Wirt.
Also present:
Town Manager: E. A. Beck
Clerk: Verna L. Dalton
On motion duly made by W. F. Whit®, sec

AVENUE
SEWER
EXTENSION
by 0. 0. Crowell, it was unanimouslq
RESOLVED, that the offer of Fred A. Jacks
to contribute T~+o Hundred Fifty 0250.00) Dollars toward
the cost of construction of sewer main on Hickory Avenue
between Fifth and Sixth Streets, to serve houses recentl
constructed or being constructed by him, be accepted, an
that this work be authorized, and
It is fim ther Resolved, That extension of

Ferry Road be approved when the remaining property c

as a cost of connection per house, and the work to be
taken by the Town at such time so as not to interfere wi
other construction or regular services.

by I. R. Carper, it was unanimouslq
RESOLVED, that the Magor and the Town
be authorized to enter into an agreement to purchase
imatelq two acres of land situated East of Pulaski, at a
cost not to exceed Six Hundred 0600.00) Dollars, to be~
used for Town purposes.
