F. 1~6alls, Clifton Sumner MINUTES ~ The minutes of the regular meeting held on May 3, 1949 were read and approved. BUILDING On motion duly made by T. F. Wirt, seconded PERMITS by I. R. Carper, it was unanimously RESOLVED, that the following building permit -Cowan applications be granted: To Oliver M. Cowan for one-story frame dwelling on east side of Short Street, East between Craig Street and Ward Lane, estimated cost of X2,500.00; _gi~ To Mary C. Ring (by R. H. T.J.MCCARTHY AMENDED McCarthy under date of March 22, 1949 be amended to provi permission for construction of two-story building on 2nd JULIUS H. Hufford be allowed during the time he is absent work because of sickness, commencing on May 1st and cont for a period of four weeks. Mr.Clifton Sumner of the Pulaski Mutual~.Building and Loan appeared before the Council to clarify the fact that the Pulaski Mutual'Building and Loan Company was a mutual company and should be so classified for license purposes.
