SPECIAL A special meeting .of the Town Council oP the Town
~EETI'NG
of Pulaski, Virginia was held in the Municipal Building at
4:00 p.~., April 27, 19.50.
There were present:
Mayor Marvin G. Graham, presiding
Councilmen: W.D. Aust, T. R. Carper, 0. 0. Crowell,
H. R. Imboden, G. R. Steger,
W, F. White, T. F. Wirt.
Absent: OtNeal Amos
Also present:
Town Manager: E.A.Beck
Supt. Water Dept:H.C..Jackson
Visitmrs: Mr. Martin Johnson of Wiley & Wilson,
Lynchburg, Virginia

FILTER PLANT'
M.Jahnson revised plan of the filter plant modifying the architectural

details, and cutting down on the size of the storage space.
Current estimat®a on the construction pro Sect were present®d,
with exception of cost on Raines Dam.
On motion duly made by H. R. Imboden, seconded by
V~. F. White, it was unanimously
WATER RESOLVED, that the modified plan of the filter

PROGRAM building be accepted and that detailed plans and specifica-
Authorized _tions necessary for receiving bids be prepared by Wiley &

bids,'etc. Neils oa, and that Wiley & Wilson proceed toward receiving bids
for construction of a filter plant, connecting water lines to
the ~!6`arden Springs and Hogan~s Dam, and for the proposed
storage tankffi, such proposals to be received in a f®rm which
will permit the foregoing items to be awarded individually.
On motion duly wade by W. F. ~Ifhite, seconded by
0. 0. Crowell, And carried'by a v®te oP six to one (6-l), it
was
CURB CUT RESOLVED, that a curb cut b® provided for Mr.
G.L.PLUNKETT
C. L. Plunkett on the west side of Jefferson Avenue,
between his building and the Dalton property, as an exit
to taxi stand, contingent upon this being used as an exit
only, with right turns, and
-Meter Be It Further Resolved, that the parking meter be
removed
removed and placed on the bridge to the south.
