Craig S: Riggle ri~qu®sted that the Council provide ~bme RIQGLS relie2' in the matter of loading zone restrictions in front ©f Rigglets'Market, inasmuch as the'one space provided was usually occupied, whiff. necessitated moving the trunk to a parking spade som® distance from the store or driving same until space was ap~ail- able -this greatly increasing delivery costs. It was also st~.ted that considerable diffiQUlty was experienced on Saturday night at 'the hours af'ter' the loading z®ne restrictions ceased to be eff~ctive~ On motion duly made by H. R. It was reported by the Town Treasurer that both .REPORTED the Cover Creamery and Farris. Brothers+ Dairy had obtained PAID business licenses for the year 1949 and for the anrrent year. Imboden, it was unanimously SAVINGS DEPOSITS RESOL~ID, that the Treasurer be authorized to 90 DAY'S PEOPLES execute and the Clerk attest a letter to the Peoples NATIONAL BANS National Bank stating that all savings deposit Punds bearing interest at the rate- of one and one-half (1-1/2) Percent shall not be withdrawn except upon ninety (90) dayst notice, retroactive to dune 1, 1950. On motion duly made by H. R. Imboden, seconded by I. R. Carper, it was unanimously TOWN MANAGER LEAVE EXTENDED ORDINANCE RESTRICTING PARKING NORTH SIDE OF FIFTH STREET,N. RESOLVED, that the Town Manager be granted an extension of leave for one week to complete Naval Training Prag ram, such time to be taken as vacation. ~ ' On motion duly made by H. R. Wirt and carried by a unanimous vote, the following ordinance was adopted: 1 AN ORDINANCE RESTRICTING PARKING ON NORTH SIDE OF FIFTH STREET, NORTH, BETyPEEN PROSPECT AVENUE AND WASH- INGTON AVENUE, AND ON SOUTH SIDE OF FIFTH STREET, NORTH, BETWEEN MADISON AVENUE AND WASHIN(~ON AVENUE, AND PUNISHMENT FOR VIOLATION THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TOTE TOYMN OF PULASKI: APPROPRIATION PAINT SPt ECjUIPM'ENT APPROPRIATION TO CEMETERY FUND That parking on the north side oP Fifth Street, North between Prospect Avenue and l~ashington Avenue, and on the south side of P`1.fth Street, North, between Madison Avenue and ~Pash- ington Avenue: shall be restricted to two hour parking between the hours of 8 A.M. and 6 P.M. every day except Sundays and official holidays. Enforcement of this ordinance shall be in the scene manner as other Traffic Ordinances; violation of the ©rdinance shall constitute a misdemeanor and shall be p~inishable in the same manner as misdemeanors are punished undar State law. This ordinance shall become effective upon the installation of suitable signs. On motion duly made by G. R. Steger, seoonded by I. R. Carper, it was unanimously RESOLVED, that the purchase of paint spray equip- ment be authorized at a cost not to exceed One Hundred Fifty (~150.00)~ollars and that an appropriation for this amount be made from the General Funds.
