SPECIAL SESSION The Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia
met in special session in the Council Chamber of the Municipal
Building at 9:00 A. M., October ?, 1948.

siding; Verna L. Dalton, Clerk; E. A. Beck, Town Manager, ~tnd
Councilmen: W. F. V~hite, G. R. Steger, W. D. Aust, 0. 0. ~Srowel7,
I. R. Carper and L. C. Lemons. Absent: T. F. Wirt and HW R.
Imboden.

On motion of W. F. White, seconded by G. R. ,
unanimously carried, the Council authoriz®d th a~ the
ammary budget be published in the Southwest Timep, Intl
1948, also notice of the special hearing fcr October
P. M., the final action on the budget to be tal~ln by
the Council at the neat meeting of same. -The Clerk of Co~cil
was authorized to make such notices as outlined above.
SEMI-MONTHLY On motion duly made, seconded and unanimous7~r
MEETING TO
BE HELD ON Passed, the Council agreed to hold the regular semi-month]~r
OCT. 14 meeting on October 14 at the time of the special hearing a6ti
the proposed budget, the signed agreement filed in the Tom
Piles.
POLICE DEPT. The Town Manager called the Council's attent~~.on
SALARIES '`
to the fact that salaries of the Police Department had rer~~.ined
unchanged in the proposed budget and any changes regardin~

same could be made in the future, if so desired."
ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, the Counci,
