RESOLUTION 2008-26
A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING CLARK PAYNE
FOR HIS SERVICE AS CHAIRMAN OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia desires to commend
citizens who have given of their time, talents and abilities in service to the community;
and,
WHEREAS, the Town Council has received a recommendation from the Pulaski
Redevelopment and Housing Authority commending the work of the authority's
chairman, Mr. Clark Payne; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Payne has been recognized by his fellow authority members for his
leadership on the Housing Authority regarding his continuing work to secure outside
funding for housing initiatives; to formulate housing goals and objectives for the Town;
to promote the rehabilitation of neighborhoods; and to improve the general housing
conditions for all citizens throughout the Town;
NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia sitting in regular session this 7th day of October 2008, that the Town Council
does hereby express its appreciation to Mr. Clark Payne for his service to and efforts on
behalf of the Town of Pulaski as Chairman of the Pulaski Redevelopment and Housing
Authority.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted by the duly recorded
vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows:
