A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE HOUSING AUTHORITY
TO PREPARE A REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia has determined that
conditions exist in certain areas of the Town that require intervention and corrective
action to prevent further deterioration of these areas and to protect the public health,
safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE ,be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia sitting in regular session this 7th day of October 2008 that the Town Council
does authorize the Pulaski Redevelopment and Housing Authority, to investigate
conditions within the area identified as the West Loop Redevelopment Area, as shown
in Attachment A affixed hereto and expressly made a part of this resolution, and prepare
a redevelopment plan for this designated area for submission to and review by the
Town Council.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 7th day of October
2008 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as
follows:

H.M. Kidd -Aye
Joel B. Burchett, Jr. -Aye
Robert A. Bopp -Aye
Morgan P. Welker -Aye
