HomeMy WebLinkAbout2008-11RESOLUTION 2008-11 CHANGING THE INSURANCE WAITING PERIOD FOR NEW TOWN EMPLOYEES WHEREAS, the Town Council has determined that it is in the general interest of the citizens of the Town of Pulaski to change the waiting period as it now exists for newly hired Town employees to be eligible to participate in the general policy for employee medical and hospitalization insurance; and, WHEREAS, the Town Council has determined that effective June 1, 2008, the proper waiting period for such participation is the remainder of any calendar month after the commencement of any employment with and service to the Town. NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, sitting in regular session this 6th day of May, 2008, that the waiting period for participation in the general policy for employee medical and hospitalization insurance for newly hired Town employees is from the date of employment to the first day of the following calendar month. This resolution is effective June 1, 2008, and is hereby adopted this 6th day of May, 2008, by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows: Jeffrey S.
