• A RESOLUTION HONORING VOLUNTEERS FOR THEIR ASSISTANCE WITH
PULASKIFEST
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia desires to recognize those
citizens and civic groups who freely volunteer their time and talents to assist the Town with
special community events; and,
WHEREAS, during the recent celebration of Pulaskifest on October 4, 2008, the
assistance of volunteers proved crucial to the success of the festival by their willingness to
assist the Town with various duties and activities that made the event enjoyable for all
citizens in attendance; and,
WHEREAS, the assistance willingly provided by these volunteers demonstrates their high
level of dedication to the Town of Pulaski and its citizens and their desire to render service
to their friends, neighbors and community;
NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, sitting in regular session this 18th day of November 2008, extends it thanks and
appreciation to the following citizens and civic groups for their invaluable assistance as
volunteers for Pulaskifest:

This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 18th day of
November 2008 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia as follows:
