Minutes of a special meeting of the Pulaski Town
Council held June 8, 1977 at 7:00 A. M. in the Municipal Building.
There were present: Mayor Raymond Ratcliff, presiding.
Councilmen: C. W. Hickam, Jr., Blair Brookmeyer,
John A. Johnston, William A. House,
James M. Neblett, Arthur L. Meadows,
Andrew L. Graham, Jr.
Also present: J. E. Marshall, Town Manager
Roger Williams, Finance Director
Ned Bane, Jr., Southwest Times
The invocation was given by Councilman Johnston.
The Mayor called the meeting to order and stated the
purpose of the meeting was to discuss salaries of the employees.
Councilman Johnston moved, seconded by Councilman
Meadows, that Town Manager Marshall be appointed Acting Clerk for
this meeting.
Councilman House moved, seconded by Councilman
Brookmeyer, that Council go into executive session to discuss
salaries and personnel of the Town. Motion was carried.
At 9:00 A. M. Councilman Johnston moved, seconded by
Councilman Meadows, that Council return to regular session.
Motion was carried.
At 9:01 A. M. Mayor Ratcliff declared Council to again
be in regular session, and inquired if there was other business
to come bef ore the Council.
Councilman House moved, seconded by Councilman Meadows,
that a special council meeting be scheduled for Thursday, June 9,
1977 at 7:00 A. M. Motion was carried.
At 9:03 A. M. Councilman House moved, seconded by
Councilman Hickam that Council adjourn. Motion was carried.
