Minutes of ~ called meeting of the Pulaski Town Council,
held on the 27th day of Nmvember, 19b1, at 1:00 P• M., in the

There were presents Mayor C. V. Jackson, presiding.
Councilmens Billy B. Flint, W. S. Cummings,
T. J. McCarthy, Glen K. Aust,
F. L. Carrico, John W. Nash,
Eugene L. Nackols, Claude B. Gallimore
Also present: H. C. Jackson, Director of Public Works
Gladys R. Dalton, Clerk
C. E. Comer, Acting Chief of Police
The invocation was given by Councilman Carrico.
Mayor Jackson advised that the meeting had been call ed
FRANK E. SWAIN
APPOINTED ISSUING
JUSTICE FOR THIRD
SHIFT
for the purpose of appointing an Issuing Justice in the Police
Department for the third or night shift to take the place of
Issuing Justice Comer, Who had been appointed by Council as
Acting Chief of Police on November 9, 1961.
Upon the reconnnendation of Acting Chief of Police C. E.
Comer, Councilman Gallimore moved that Officer Frank E. Swain be
appointed Issuing Justice ~r the third, or night shift. This
motion was seconded by Councilman Nash and carried unanimously.
The meeting ad3ourned at 1120 P. M.
