A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS
WHEREAS, The Town of Pulaski, Virginia has applied for and received an offer for
Community Development Block Grant funds in the amount of $700,000 from the Virginia
Department of Housing and Community Development to implement Phase I project activities of
the Pulaski Tornado Recovery Project and
WHEREAS, these funds will be used for the sole purpose of implementing the Community
Improvement Grant regarding the Pulaski Tornado Recovery Project.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF PULASKI, VIRGINIA that; the Town Manager, as the Town's chief administrative
official, is designated to authorize the expenditure of funds as necessary to implement the
Community Development Block Grant (CIG #11-UN-18).
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 6`h day of December 2011
by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows:
