HomeMy WebLinkAbout2014-28RESOLUTION 2014-28 AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE TOWN OF PULASKI, VIRGINIA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 2014 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2015 WHEREAS, after the adoption of the budget for Fiscal Year 2014-2015, it has become necessary to amend the budget; and WHEREAS, the original budget appropriations as adopted June 3, 2014, amended appropriations and reasons for the amendment are listed in Attachment A, affixed hereto and expressly made part of this resolution; NOW THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia sitting in regular session this 5th day of August 2014, that: Section 1. The proposed budget be amended and hereby is approved as the budget for the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2014 and ending June 30, 2015, in accordance with Section 15.2-2507, of the Code of Virginia 1950, as amended. Section 2. In conjunction with the approval of said budget and capital improvements program, the following appropriations be and hereby are approved for the fiscal year as shown in Attachment B, affixed hereto and expressly made part of this resolution. This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted this 5th day of August 2014 by recorded vote of the Town Council as follows: Heather L. Steele -Absent H.M. Kidd -Aye Gregory C.
