There were present:

Council: Heather L. Steele, Gregory C. East, David L. Clark, H. M. Kidd, James A. Radcliffe
Lane R. Penn
Staff: Shawn M. Utt, Town Manager
David Warburton, Town Attorney
David Quesenberry, Asst. to the Town Manager
Patricia Cruise, Clerk of Council
John White, Economic Development Director
Mike Hudson, Police Department Lieutenant
Dave Hart, Parks and Facilities Director
Others: David Hagan Amy Lewis Melinda Williams, Press
Mayor Worrell called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Following roll call, Mayor Worrell advised that the meeting had been called to discuss the Calfee Park Land
Transfer agreement.
Mr. Utt advised that a draft agreement for the purchase and sale of Calfee Park to Historic Calfee Park, LLC.
For One Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Dollars had been included in the packet for Council's review.
Following discussion, Councilman Clark moved to authorize the Mayor to execute a contract for purchase and
sale of real estate as presented. Councilman Radcliffe seconded the motion and carried on the following
recorded unanimous vote:
Heather L. Steele -Aye
Gregory C. East -Aye
David L. Clark -Aye
H. M. Kidd -Aye
James A. Radcliffe -Aye
Lane R. Penn -Aye
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned on motion by Councilman East, seconded by
Councilman Kidd and carried on voice vote.
