Resolution Authorizing the Donation of Cemetery Lots at
Oakwood Cemetery
WHEREAS, Alksander E. Espelund, current owner of seven (7) vacant cemetery plots
in Section Y, Lot 300 in Oakwood Cemetery, requested Town Council's consideration to
allow donation or sale of the lots to family members or other persons; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Espelund's proposal regarding disposition of the cemetery plots
requires the review and approval of Town Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Town Council reviewed and discussed Mr. Espelund's request at its
regular meeting on January 5, 2016;
NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, sitting in regular session this 19th day of January 2016, that Alksander E.
Espelund is hereby authorized to donate, but not sell, the seven (7) vacant cemetery
plots, located in Section Y, Lot 300, to family members or other persons at his
discretion.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted by the duly recorded
vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia this 19th day of January 2016
as follows:
