Resolution Authorizing Reconfiguring the Enterprise Zone of the Town of Pulaski
WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski, Virginia has a designated Enterprise Zone, identified
as Zone #41, that provides a combination of State and Local Incentives to promote
economic development; and,
WHEREAS, there is a current need to reconfigure the existing Enterprise Zone #41 in
the Town of Pulaski to incorporate existing properties in and around the Town of Pulaski
to increase economic growth opportunities; and,
WHEREAS, this proposed reconfiguration, as shown in Attachment A affixed hereto and
expressly made part of this resolution, will serve to benefit economic and industrial
expansion of the Town of Pulaski to meet the goals and objectives of the Virginia
Enterprise Program;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of
Pulaski, Virginia sitting in regular session this 15th day of September 2015, hereby
authorizes the Town Manager to submit the necessary Enterprise Zone amendment
package and sign all necessary documentation on behalf of the Town of Pulaski for this
proposed Enterprise Zone reconfiguration, and to meet other program administrative
and reporting requirements, as defined by the Enterprise Zone Regulations throughout
the life of the zone.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted by the duly recorded
vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia sitting in regular session this
15th day of September 2015, as follows:
