Resolution Appointing Jason Paljug
as
Property Maintenance Official
WHEREAS, Part III of the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (VUSBC), requires
that every local jurisdiction enforcing the code shall have a code official, appointed by
the local governing body, as the executive in charge of the agency within the local
government that is responsible for the code's enforcement; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Jason Paljug, due to his education, training and experience has been
adjudged qualified to both meet the position requirements of and perform the duties of
property maintenance official for the purposes of administering Part III of the Virginia
Uniform Statewide Building Code and the Code of Ordinances, Town of Pulaski,
Virginia;
NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, sitting in regular session this 19th day of April 2016, that the Town Council
hereby appoints Mr. Jason Paljug as Property Maintenance Official for the Town of
Pulaski, Virginia.
FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Council hereby designates the Building Official's
Office as the agency of the Town of Pulaski responsible for the code's administration
and enforcement within the corporate limits of the town.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 19th day of April
2016 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as
follows:
