A Resolution of Appreciation to Kim Webster
For Her Service to the Citizens of the Town of Pulaski
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia desires to recognize and
commend persons who have given their time and talents to bettering the life of the Town
and its citizens; and,
WHEREAS, Mrs. Kim Webster, a native of Wichita, Kansas, has involved herself in the life
of our community through her service in the capacity as a private citizen, artisan and
member of community service organizations; and,
WHEREAS, Mrs. Webster, an alumnus of Kansas State University with a degree in
environmental design, gave of her personal time, talent and expertise to the Town of
Pulaski by designing Heritage Park, thereby creating a recreational area for the enjoyment
of present and future citizens of the Town; and,
WHEREAS, following the untimely passing of her husband Johnny, Mrs. Webster
continued serving her adopted hometown by working for the United Way; assisting the
Town as a valued volunteer at the Raymond F. Ratcliff Transportation Museum; and
faithfully contributing to the programs and ministry of the First Presbyterian Church;
NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, sitting in regular session this 10th day of May 2016, that the Town Council does
hereby extend its sincerest thanks and appreciation to Mrs. Kim Webster for her years of
service to the citizens of the Town of Pulaski and for her willingness to give of her time and
talents in improving the life of the citizens and the community.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 10th day of May 2016
by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows:
