Resolution Electing to Provide Health Insurance Coverage
for Retirees and Dependents of Retirees
WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski, Virginia is a longtime participant in The Local
Choice Health Benefits Program; and,
WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski offers health insurance coverage to its eligible
employees and their dependents; and,
WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski does not have in place a policy to provide coverage
to retirees and their dependents;
NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, sitting in regular session this 6th day of December 2016, does hereby elect
to provide coverage to Retirees Not eligible for Medicare and their dependents with
blended rates and Medicare Eligible Retirees and their dependents effective July 1,
2017 with the desire to choose Advantage 65 with Dental/Vision for the Medicare
Supplement coverage option.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 6th day of
December 2016 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of
Pulaski, Virginia as follows:
