Resolution Appointing Council Members
to the Finance and Human Resources Committees
WHEREAS, under Section 3.20 of the Town Charter, the Town Council has the authority to
create and staff committees as it may deem necessary to address the needs and concerns of
the Town; and,
WHEREAS, previous Councils established both a Finance and Human Resources committee
in accordance with the provisions of Section 3.20 of the Town Charter; and
WHEREAS, the Council has now determined that the need exists to appoint members to the
Finance and Human Resources committee to further examine and review matters currently
under consideration by the Town;
NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia
sitting in regular session this 3rd day of January 2017 that the following Council members are
appointed to the Finance and Human Resources committees as listed below:
Committee Appointees
Finance Committee Gregory C. East, Lane R. Penn, James A. Radcliffe
Human Resources Committee Joseph K. Goodman, David L. Clark, H.M. Kidd
FURTHER RESOLVED, that Gregory C. East is appointed as chairman of the Finance
Committee and Joseph K. Goodman is appointed as chairman of the Human Resources
Committee.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 3rd day of January 2017
by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows:
James A. Radcliffe -Aye Joseph K. Goodman - Aye
Gregory C. East - Aye H.M. Kidd - Aye
David L. Clark - Aye Lane R. Penn - Aye
