Resolution Amending the Town Personnel Manual
Regarding Employee Service Awards
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia has determined that it is in the
interest of the Town and its employees to regularly update and maintain the Town's
Personnel Manual to reflect changes and amendments to said policies; and,
WHEREAS, Town Council has been deemed it necessary to revise the schedule for
employee service awards;
NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia,
sitting in regular session this 15th day of November 2016 that the schedule for employee
service awards, as set forth in Section 3J "Service Awards—Awards" shall be amended to
read as follows:
Length of Service
Award
5 years of service
Certificate of Appreciation.
10 years of service
Plaque.
15 years of service
Plaque plus $65 added to the first paycheck in December.
20 years of service
Plaque plus $130 added to the first paycheck in December.
25 years of service
Glass/crystal award plus $195 added to the first paycheck in
December.
30 years of service
Glass/crystal award plus $227.50 added to the first
a check in December.
35 years of service
Glass/crystal award plus $260 added to the first paycheck in
December.
40 years of service
Glass/crystal award plus $325 added to the first paycheck in
December.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 15th day of November
2016 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as
follows:
