Resolution Adopting the Non -Discrimination Policy
of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia for the Downtown CDBG Community
Improvement Grant
WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski, Virginia desires to fulfill its responsibilities under the
Downtown CDBG Community Improvement Grant by the fair and equitable treatment of
all persons involved in the program;
NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia sitting in regular session this 31d day of January 2018, that the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia or any employee thereof will not discriminate against an employee or applicant
for employment because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, pregnancy,
childbirth or related medical conditions, age, marital status, or disability. Administrative
and personnel officials will take affirmative action to insure that this policy shall include,
but not be limited, to the following: employment, upgrading, demotion or transfer; rates
of pay or other forms of compensation; and selection for training.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 3 d day of January
2018 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as
follows:
