Resolution Appointing Elected Official Representatives
to the New River Valley Regional Commission Board
WHEREAS, the Board of the New River Valley Regional Commission (NRVRC) has a seat
reserved for elected officials from its member jurisdictions that rotates among the Commission's
board members; and,
WHEREAS, it is now the turn of the Town of Pulaski to send an elected official to occupy this
seat upon the NRVRC Board for a term of two years; and,
WHEREAS, it is also necessary to name another member of Town Council to the Town's
regular co -terminus position on the board to replace the current member who has resigned;
NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia
sitting in regular session this 18th day of September 2018 that the following Council members
are appointed to the elected official's seats, as representatives from the Town of Pulaski, on the
New River Valley Regional Commission's board for the indicated term as listed below.

FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution shall render Resolution 2018-29 null and void.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 18th day of September
2018 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows:
