Resolution Appointing Sherri Gallagher as Building Official
WHEREAS, the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (USBC) requires that every
local building division have a building official, appointed by the local governing body, as
the executive in charge of the division; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Bill Pedigo has been acting Building Official since January 17, 2017
and,
WHEREAS, Mrs. Sherri Gallagher, due to her education, training and experience has
been adjudged qualified to both meet the position requirements of and perform the
duties of the Office of Building Official for the purposes of administering the Virginia
Uniform Statewide Building Corse and the Code of Ordinances, Town of Pulaski,
Virginia.
NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, sitting in regular session this 511 day of March 2019, that the Town Council
hereby appoints Mrs. Sherri Gallagher as Building Official for the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 511 day of March
2019 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as
follows:
