A Resolution Honoring Timothy R. Kuntz for His Service
to the Town Of Pulaski as a Member of the Board of Zoning Appeals
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia wishes to recognize and express
its' appreciation to those citizens who have rendered faithful service to the community and their
fellow citizens; and,
WHEREAS, Timothy R. Kuntz was nominated by the Town Council for membership on the
Board of Zoning Appeals for the Town of Pulaski, Virginia on February 6, 2001 and was
appointed to the Board of Zoning Appeals by the Circuit Court of Pulaski County on March 23,
2001; and,
WHEREAS, following his appointment, Mr. Kuntz established himself and a dedicated and
energetic member of the Board of Zoning Appeals through his faithful attendance; his thorough
preparation to hear cases; and his willingness to serve the Board in any capacity as was
needed; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Kuntz insisted that citizens be treated fairly and made sure that any citizen
appearing before the Board received the utmost consideration from him by his great care to
answer their questions and explain to them the issues involved in their appeal, so they could
feel confident that their concerns were given due consideration and respect as befits their
standing as a citizen of the Town; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Kuntz served both as Chairman and a regular member of the Board of Zoning
Appeals until August 6, 2019 for a total of eighteen and one-half years' service;
NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia,
sitting in regular session this 1 sl day of October 2019, that the Town Council does hereby extend
its thanks and appreciation to Timothy R. Kuntz for his eighteen and one-half years of service to
our community as a member of the Board of Zoning Appeals.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 1st day of October, 2019
by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows:
