A Resolution Authorizing Submission of a Loan Application to the
Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project
WHEREAS, the Town desires to submit a loan application to the Southeast Rural
Community Assistance Project (SERCAP) for the repair of a filter at the Water
Treatment Plant; and,
WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski wishes to effect repairs to the unit in an expedient and
fiscally responsible manner as possible;
NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia sitting in regular session this 1St day of October 2019 that the Council does
hereby authorize submission of a loan application for an amount not to exceed
$235,000, to the Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project's loan program for
Water/Wastewater, Community Facilities & Equipment.
FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Council authorizes the Town Manager to execute
all the necessary documentation relevant to or required by the loan application.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 1St day of October
2019 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as
follows..
