Resolution Appointing the Initial CDBG Project Management Team
for the Calfee Community & Cultural Center CDBG Planning Grant
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia desires to support efforts for the
restoration and revitalization of the Calfee Community & Cultural Center; and,
WHEREAS, said efforts will require the submission of a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to
provide funds for the restoration and revitalization of the structure; and,
WHEREAS,
as part
of the
CDBG process, a project management team is required to exercise a
supervisory
function

application process for the grant funds;
NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia sitting in
regular session this 5th day of November 2019 that the following persons are hereby appointed to the
initial CDBG Project Management Team for the Calfee Community & Cultural Center
Rev Or Karen Black, Randolph Ave United Methodist Church
Kevin Byrd (or designee) NRV Regional Commission
