Budget Appropriation Regarding Reimbursements from Pulaski County
to the Town of Pulaski Under the CARES Act
WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski, Virginia received funds from Pulaski County under the CARES
Act to meet approved expenditures made by the Town in addressing service, personnel and
equipment disbursements made necessary by the current COVID-19 viral pandemic; and,
WHEREAS, these appropriations from the CARES Act must be properly entered and recorded
in the Town's current fiscal year budget under applicable state and federal laws and guidelines;
NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia
sitting in regular session this 16th day of March 2021, that the CARES Act funds received from
Pulaski County are hereby appropriated as shown below:

General Fund Revenues Federal Funds-CARES Act $64,258.78
General Fund Expenses Town-Wide Projects-CARES ' $64,258.78

This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 16th day of March 2021 by
the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski as follows:
Lane R. Penn -Aye James A. Radcliffe -Aye
Brooks R. Dawson -Aye G. Tyler Clontz -Aye
Gregory C. East -Aye Michael P. Reis -Aye
