Resolution Certifying Appropriation of Grant Funds for the
Direct Injection Project
WHEREAS, on October 6, 2020, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,. Virginia
appropriated grants of $2,450,000 for the Direct Injection Project of which $1,250,000
was a grant from the Economic Development Administration (EDA); $700,000 was from
the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD); and $500,000 from
the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC); and,
WHEREAS, the.Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) requires
annual certification of these grant funds;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia sitting in regular session this 20th day of July 2021, that the Town Council
affirms that the above-named grants were carried forward into FY 2021-2022.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 20th day of July
2021 -by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of.Pulaski, Virginia
as follows:
