1. Vice Mayor called the Meeting to Order at 6:00 p.m. and asked for roll call

Mayor Collins Absent
Also present were Darlene Burcham, Town Manager and Spencer Rygas, Town Attorney
2. Modification to close session — None
3. Vice Mayor asked for a motion to go into closed session for the following items:
a. Va. Code 2.2-3711 (a) 1 (2 item) -discussion of personnel matter consultation with legal
council
b. Va. Code 2.2-3711 (A) Consultation with legal counsel
Motion was made by Mr. Reis to go into closed session, seconded by Mr. Penn.

4. Certification of closed session. The Vice Mayor requested a certification motion which was
made by Mr. Reis, seconded by Mr. Clotz that only the following items were discussed:
a. Va. Code 2.2-3711 (a) 1 (2 item) -discussion of personnel matter consultation
b. Va. Code 2.2-3711 (A) Consultation with legal counsel
The motion was approved on the following roll call vote.

5. Modifications to the Agenda
Mr. Reis of refuse collection agreement the motion to add to the agenda the Modification
Agreement on notice of termination. The motion was seconded by Mr. Penn
The motion was approved on the following roll call vote.

6. Consent Agenda
Consideration of February 15, 2022 Council Minutes.
Mr. Clontz made the motion to approve, seconded by Mr. Penn.

7. Modification Agreement Motion by Mr. Reis seconded by Mr. Clontz.
8. Public Comment: Ms. Terri Sternberg
9. Council Comments:
Vice Mayor Dawson that the first 2 X 2 meeting
10. Manager Report:
Ms. Burcham reported the Outdoor Facility Coordinator position has been filled and that new
playground at Gatewood will be installed next week.
11. Reminder of Future Meetings and Adjournment
March 15, 2022, Council Work Session; Closed Session 5:00 p.m.; Public Session 6:30
p.m.
Meeting adjourned at 7:27 p.m.
