Resolution Honoring William D. Pedigo Upon his Retirement from the Town of Pulaski
WHEREAS, The Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia desires to recognize and
commend those employees who, upon their retirement, have rendered a career of service to the
citizens of the Town of Pulaski; and,
WHEREAS, William D. Pedigo began serving the Town of Pulaski as an Engineer Tech II
beginning December 6, 1988 and was promoted to Project Engineer beginning June 9, 1989; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Pedigo was promoted again, this time as Assistant Town Engineer beginning
August 30, 1993; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Pedigo began his role as Interim Town Engineer starting on May 20, 2002;
and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Pedigo served as the Interim Building Official starting on January 17, 2017
and served as an alternate on the Pepper's Ferry Regional Wastewater Treatment Authority from
January 1, 2013 and will continue to serve until December 31, 2025; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Pedigo became the Town of Pulaski Town Engineer on November 20, 2002
and will retire on January 3, 2023; and,
NOW, THEREFORE it be RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia sitting in regular session this 201h day of December 2022, that the Town Council extends
its sincerest thanks and appreciation to William D. Pedigo for his dedicated service to the Town
of Pulaski.
BE it FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Council and Town Employees extend to Mr.
Pedigo their best wishes for an enjoyable and rewarding retirement.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 201h day of December, 2022
by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows:
